Why Garish Purple Haze?

A man will do a lot for love. My wife loves purple, and since building this for her, I've had many other husbands tell me their wives want a purple one too. In the meantime, I've been told more than once that this bike is garish! Overly colorful, loud and showy is a great description for this bike...and my wife is very happy!
